8/14 Dungeons Complete

A small progress update: over half the game's content is finished. I'm working hard to make each dungeon better than the last and to fill them with interesting enemies. It shouldn't be much longer before the final version is ready!

I'm constantly doing minor updates and bug fixes as well. One of the things added was a special graphic to the confuse and freeze conditions. Players can now easily notice when they are confused, and the controls are properly reversed. When players get frozen, they can physically see themselves inside a block of ice. If the player changes directions quickly, the ice will shatter and the condition will end early.

The total lack of comment is somewhat intringing.

I've played this game a while ago (I think I got to around level 38?) but completing the same dungeons all the time gets boring. So I'm wondering if there'll be another demo to be released before the full game (I've been checking this blog almost every day for updates). Perhaps you could release what has been completed so far?

I only recently remembered to allow anonymous comments!

I wasn't planning on releasing a second demo - just the final game. But I don't know, maybe another demo could get more people interested? Which would always be good.

Also, level 38! That's higher than my main test character!

You could try making it so that when you can use like a level 3 skill, you can just use a level 1 skill instead and only 1 bar is wasted ^.^. Would be useful.

Im level 50.

Being able to choose which skill you use is the most requested feature. It's on the to-do list for sure.

I love your game. Its very fun and inspiring. Ever considered releasing the source? ;-)

Another demo with two additional levels would be awesome.

This is the best Darkbasic game I have ever had the pleasure of playing

I appreciate the comments! I don't plan on releasing the source, but I'm probably going to release the dungeon editor.

Are you really making it in Dark Basic?

Hooray I beat the Demo

Yeah, this is made in Dark Basic.

I was wondering if you've noticed/fixed some problem with one of the 2nd boss' attacks. The one that removes the ground sometimes traps your character (they stand in the air and unable to move).

I know about the bug and I believe I fixed it shortly after releasing the demo.
